Dominican Republic

After graduating I decided to give myself a graduation gift, so I took a trip to the motherland: Dominican Republic!

I stayed at the Royalton Punta Cana Resort, an all-inclusive hotel, and I must say I felt right at home, completely immersed in the Dominican culture as soon as I stepped foot on the island. Even though I throughly enjoyed my vacation I wished I could have stayed there longer. However, I got to check off one glamorous adventure off of my bucket list: a photo shoot in the Caribbean!

I truly love and am completely enamored with the beautiful island called Dominican Republic. Luckily I am able to go on vacation and stay a couple days at all-inclusive resorts, but more importantly I am able to visit my beloved family who reside in a city called La Vega. Every time I go visit my family it is a reminder of how blessed I am to be living in the United States. Even though the Dominican Republic is a developing country the people seem to always make the best out of any situation. Everyone is always content with having each other and that is more than enough for them to have a good time and although an extremely hard working people, they always seem to make time for drinking and partying no matter what time of the day it is. I love my culture and I am proud of being Dominican!
